Staff Testimonial

“Since joining Cerebral Palsy Alliance in 2015, I have been supported by the Training Alliance team to complete over 12 training sessions including orientation, customer service training and in depth skills training to support me in my role as a Disability Support Worker. I have also been supported to explore special interest areas such as Positive Behaviour Support and completing recognised courses in First Aid and CPR. The Training Alliance facilitators are always knowledgeable and passionate, presenting information in ways that specifically relate to our clients. I love going to training sessions because I get to meet people from all over the organisation to share ideas and learn together.”

Staff Testimonial

‘Coming in with no experience in health or working with people with disabilities, Training Alliance empowered me with knowledge not only to fulfil the requirements of the job, but instil a greater awareness of the disability sector within our society. The training focuses on the issues that make a difference to people with disabilities. In what can often be challenging and complex sessions, the facilitators are professional, engaging and relevant. I would not have the passion or understanding of working with people with disabilities without the education from Training Alliance.”

Staff Testimonial

‘As a new employee I am expected to do online courses for induction.  Having done a few online courses in the past and not really enjoyed them I found it much easier and more enjoyable than I thought.  I could go through the course at my own pace and go back over anything I didn’t quite understand. The case studies and videos were great to cement the theory and the quizzes were quite fun – and were really good to make sure I had understood the information. ‘
